Step 1: Download & Install

After choosing one of the Materia plans—whether it’s the 3-day free trial, Growth, or Professional—and completing checkout, you’ll receive a confirmation email. That email contains your download link and license key (for paid plans), so keep it somewhere safe.

Inside the download:

• All theme demos (ZIP format)

• A documentation pdf file

• Your official theme files

How to Install the Theme on Shopify

---

1. Unzip the download you received after purchase.

2. Open Shopify → Online Store → Themes

3. Click “Upload theme”, select the Materia ZIP file, and upload it.

1. Wait a few seconds for the upload to finish.

2. Once uploaded, you can either:

   • Click “Publish” to make it live

   • Or click “Customize” to start editing without publishing yet

Make sure to extract the main ZIP folder first, then select your preferred theme demo and upload that ZIP file to Shopify.

If You Chose the Free 3-Day Trial

Once you start customizing the theme, a popup will appear saying: “Your free trial has started.”

Click the “Start Creating” button to unlock full access to all features for 3 days. After the trial ends, you’ll need to enter a valid license key to continue using the theme.

If You Purchased Growth or Professional

---

When you open the theme, a license activation popup will appear. Here’s what to do:

1. Open the order confirmation email you received after purchase

2. Copy the unique license key provided

3. Paste it into the popup to activate the theme

4. That’s it — full access is unlocked permanently

Make sure to store your license key safely. You might need it again for theme updates or reinstallation.

Accessing Your Materia Dashboard

To manage your theme and updates:

1. Go to materiathemes.com → Theme Updates or directly visit materia-dashboard.com
2. Create an account (this is separate from your Shopify account) Just use your email and set a password.

3. Once logged in, you’ll have access to your personal dashboard:

   • Homepage – See update logs and recent activity

   • Theme Updates – Download and apply the latest version

   • Downloads – Re-download themes, bonus templates, and more

   • License Key Required – To access downloads, enter your license key again (same one from your email)
