Overall Zoom

The Page Zoom feature in the Materia theme gives you control over the overall scale of your storefront on desktop devices. This can help fine-tune your layout’s appearance, increase readability, or create a more compact and minimal visual feel depending on your brand’s needs.

What Is Page Zoom?

Page Zoom (Desktop) lets you adjust the zoom level of your entire website layout — including spacing, font size, images, and section scaling — specifically for desktop screens.

It does not affect your mobile layout.

🔧 How to Use It

Page Zoom (Desktop)

Default value: 100 Minimum: 60 Maximum: 120

  • A value of 100 = Default scale

  • A value below 100 = Zooms out (more compact layout)

  • A value above 100 = Zooms in (larger fonts, buttons, and spacing)

This is especially helpful if:

  • You want tighter visual spacing on large monitors

  • You want a zoomed-in look for better readability

  • You’re designing for high-DPI screens or older displays

Notes & Tips

  • This setting applies only to desktop breakpoints

  • It adjusts the entire layout proportionally — including header, buttons, product cards, and text

  • It does not replace font size or padding settings — those can still be adjusted separately

  • Best paired with proper container widths in your Layout Settings for optimal visual balance
